FC Bayern will be without its backup striker for two games.

Leverkusen, Germany - March 14: head coach Vincent Kompany of FC Bayern Munchen gives a pat on the back of Nicolas Jackson of FC Bayern Munchen looks dejected after he received a red card during the German Bundesliga match between Bayer 04 Leverkusen and FC Bayern Munchen at BayArena on March 14, 2026 in Leverkusen, Germany. Jackson saw red Saturday and will now miss more than one match, with the ruling of the league making him sit out a further match.

That said, he will now miss out against Union Berlin on March 21 and Freiburg on April 4, returning to play against St. Pauli on April 11. Luckily for the club, he mainly serves as a backup forward, unlikely to force many changes in the squad.

Jackson’s suspension comes as a bad time for the Chelsea product. Prior to the disastrous stint he had against Bayer Leverkusen, the 24-year-old had actually strung together a few positive efforts. Now, the Senegalese attacker is set to miss the next Bundesliga games.

Hopefully, Bayern Munich starting striker Harry Kane will be ready to go against Union Berlin over the weekend. Build Your Winning Bracket !
