🚨 Red Bull Seats Swap Sparks Furious F1 Controversy!
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association Preseason Poll has been released, and Southern Indy has many contenders. Six local teams populated the rankings across all classes, while two others received votes.
This is how the coach’s association sees things. In 4A the North Huskies, come in ranked 5th. They had a 25 and 9 season last year that ended as state runner-up in Indianapolis The Jasper Wildcats another state runner-up comes into the 3A field ranked 4th in the state.
The Wildcats were 28 and 7 last season; they lost at state by one run. The Mater Dei Wildcats lost their coach but return lots of talent from a championship caliber roster in 2025 that also came up just short of a state title. They are the number one ranked team in 2A.
Other ranked teams included Gibson Southern (8th in 3A), Vincennes Lincoln (10th in 3A) and Northeast Dubois (3rd in 1A). Castle and Heritage Hills also received votes in the preseason poll. Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
