Twitter/X replies from Altafiber indicate that a deal is in place to broadcast the Cincinnati Reds' games for the upcoming 2026 season. Altafiber replied March 16 via its official Twitter/X account to users inquiring about Reds' broadcast availability. "We have an update for the Reds games," the reply stated .

Altafiber announced March 9 it was actively negotiating with Major League Baseball in an effort to broadcast 2026 games. MLB announced in February that it would produce and distribute Reds' game broadcasts this season. At the time, Reds' officials said fans will be able to access Reds games via cable and satellite providers, or stream digitally on Reds.
