Suns head coach Jordan Ott shades refs after loss to Celtics originally appeared on The Sporting News . Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here . The Phoenix Suns entered Monday's game against the Boston Celtics , looking to get back on track after the Toronto Raptors broke their four-game win streak Friday.

Returning to TD Garden, where he once scored 70 points, Devin Booker found success in Boston once again. The five-time All-Star finished with 40 points, six assists and three rebounds, but committed seven turnovers. The Suns had three other scorers in double-figures, including Jalen Green who scored 21 and Haywood Highsmith who scored a season-high 16 points off the bench.

However, Boston's offense proved to be too much to overcome, as Jaylen Brown finished with a game-high 41 points. Jayson Tatum and Derrick White contributed 21 points each, while Payton Pritchard added 19 off the bench. Following the game, Suns head coach Jordan Ott spoke about Brown's free-throw shooting, shading the referees in the process.

"That's a lot of free throws for one player," said Ott. Although Brown did attempt 21 free throws, the free throw numbers for both teams were near even. In fact, Phoenix attempted more than Boston.
