Midland College's Elite Team Makes It to the Sweet Sixteen After Crushing Obstacles!

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – Midland College punched its ticket to the NJCAA D1 National Basketball Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. The Chaps earned the top seed for an at-large bid at No. 7.

MC finished the season with a 27-6 overall record, falling in the Region V Tournament to Howard, who earned the No. 1 seed at the national tournament. The Chaps get a bye in the first round as they await the winner of No.

10 Walters State and No. 23 South Georgia State. They’ll face the winner of that contest on March 24 at 2:30 p.
