At the end of last season, it was announced that Jerry Schemmel would not be returning as part of the 850 KOA radio tandem in 2026 โ the second time he was laid off by iHeartRadio in six years.
While it wasnโt immediately clear what the plan for radio broadcasts would be โ either Jack Corrigan going solo or if theyโd bring in someone else, like Mike Rice from 2020-2022 โ it was announced that KOA would be auditioning folks throughout spring training to join Corrigan in the booth. Thanks Christian. Through spring we are rotating @BroadcastJesse , @Josh_Suchon , @JeffDools , @zgoody23 with Jack.
One pairing will be our 2026 broadcast team starting March 27 is the plan.. https://t. co/DR67LLwVPG โ KOA 850 AM & 94.
