Cam Young nearly snatched the win but still claimed the title in the Players Championship, securing his playoff berth!

The American finished 13-under-par to win the tournament after holding his nerve down the closing stretch at one of golf’s most prestigious events. Young produced an outstanding performance throughout the final round to fend off the other contenders and lift the trophy.
However, the 28-year-old later admitted that the pressure finally caught up with him on the very last hole of the tournament. ” Fortunately for Young, the ball dropped into the hole, confirming his Players Championship triumph. Young admitted his driving had been inconsistent during the week, but he found his best swing when it mattered most. “I drove it so well last week, and I drove it so average this week. I felt like I never quite got into a rhythm.
