Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore ranked second in quarterback pressures after double teams in 2025.

Double teams were not enough to limit New England Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore in 2025. The 2025 NFL season concluded with the Patriots losing to the Seattle Seahawks 29-13 in Super Bowl LX. Though six weeks removed from the cease of play, Barmore’s performance on the year against double teams warrants recognition.

According to NFL. com’s Tony Holzman-Escareno, Barmore ranked second among all players in quarterback pressures after facing double teams in 2025 with 17. Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons was the only player in the league to record more, with 18.

Barmore outpaced Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Vita Vea, who rounded out the top three with 16. Barmore registered 50 total pressures in 2025. He also recorded two sacks, as well as 11 quarterback hits, last season.

The Philadelphia native, along with Patriots defensive tackle Milton Williams, were heralded for their work on the inside, particularly in the playoffs. Barmore’s effectiveness in getting after the quarterback throughout the season contributed to the Patriots’ run to the Super Bowl. Follow Patriots Wire on Twitter and Facebook .
