Next Up: NFL Team Eyes Shocking Move of Key Star!
The Tennessee Titans are getting nearly unanimous applause for their rebrand. Could an AFC South rival be next?
Various teams are getting updates on their branding this year in the NFL, but could a new team get a makeover next season? We've seen the new Tennessee Titans branding and uniforms as they rolled out their marketing activation last week, with the unveiling of the new Houston Oilers-style aesthetic. The changes were widely received positively, with the uniforms and new logo garnering applause from Titans fans and rivals alike.
They aren't the only team to make major changes, though, as the Los Angeles Rams are also rolling out new gear. Not only are they adopting a new, retro-style secondary Rams head logo, but the NFC runner-ups are ditching the gradient that irked a large section of their fanbase. Gone is the gradient, and their primary logo will now be solid gold rather than a hodgepodge of colors fading in and out.
But one team that might be getting a uniform and logo upgrade sooner rather than later is the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars will be getting new "Rivalries" uniforms next season, but they could also see an overhaul of their logo and jerseys in the coming years. They're renovating their stadium over the next few years to usher in a new era of Jacksonville football, and what better way than to upgrade the look?
There have been several rumors online that the team may keep the same color scheme while updating the logo and/or primary uniforms, but nothing has been confirmed thus far. The current Jaguars logo has remained the same since they unveiled it in 2013. Since becoming a franchise in 1995, the Jaguars have stayed with their primary color scheme of black, dark gold, and, most importantly, teal.
