The WIAA girls basketball state tournament concluded Saturday at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon. State champions were crowned in five divisions – Arrowhead in Division 1 , Whitefish Bay in Division 2 , Oostburg in Division 3 , Neillsville in Division 4 and Pacelli in Division 5 . Outside of Oostburg's and Pacelli's dominance in the D3 and D5 state title game respectively, each of the other three title games were decided by a combined 10 points, including a double-overtime classic in the D1 title game.

Then, she scored 20 of the Dells' 37 points in the D3 title-game loss to unbeaten Oostburg. Nataya Donaldson, Beaver Dam Donaldson was a load to handle in the D2 state tournament, scoring 25 points with nine rebounds (five offensive) in Beaver Dam's upset of top-seeded Rice Lake in the semifinals. She added a 14-point, 13-rebound double-double in BD's one-point loss to champion Whitefish Bay in the title game.
