PEORIA — The Bradley Braves women's basketball team received its postseason path Monday from the Women's National Invitation Tournament . Bradley will play George Washington, on the road in Washington, D. C.
, at 5 p. m. Thursday in Charles E.
Smith Center. The Braves are in the same part of the bracket as Illinois State, and the rivals would face each other if they both make the Great Eight. If BU beats the Revolutionaries, it would advance to a second-round game against 21-10 Southern Indiana, which has a first-round bye.
Bradley went 20-12 this season and finished in a three-way tie with Illinois State and UNI for third in the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season at 13-7. George Washington went 15-17 overall and was 7-11 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The Revolutionaries were led by 5-foot-9 sophomore guard Gabby Reynolds, who averaged 13.
