Prediction Heatwave: Joel Klatt Squeezes In On Ohio State's Super Bowl Stride!

Yahoo Sports

Joel Klatt sees a transcendent talent in Ohio State's Arvell Reese, comparing him to Micah Parsons and predicting DPOY potential with a top NFL Draft selection.

Joel Klatt Makes Bold NFL Career Prediction for Ohio State's Arvell Reese Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza is pretty much the only lock for the 2026 NFL Draft, expected to go to the Las Vegas Raiders with the No. 1 pick. Outside of that, really nothing is a sure thing because most people around the league think Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love is the best player in the 2026 class.

However, running backs don't get the love in the draft that quarterbacks, offensive linemen, defensive linemen and receivers do. With that being said, many mock drafts have the New York Jets taking Ohio State pass-rusher Arvell Reese with the No. 2 pick.

Fox Sports' Joel Klatt predicted that same outcome with his most recent mock draft after the first wave of free agency, comparing Reese to Green Bay Packers defensive end Micah Parsons. “But there's a player on the board that all fall has reminded me of Micah Parsons, and that is Arvell Reese from Ohio State," Klatt said . "Arvell Reese is a sensational player, and I know he is just scratching the surface.

"Listen, this is a guy that played really as a starter for one year and was just learning how to play on the edge. He can play at the second level, he can play on the edge. He is an excellent pass rusher.
