It's been a fairly active start to free agency for the Indianapolis Colts . GM Chris Ballard has re-signed several of the team's own free agents and also made a handful of outside additions. But with that said, there is still work to be done as well.
Taking into account the signings and re-signings that have already taken place, let's rank the top three moves made by the Colts through the first week of free agency. 3. Signing S Juanyeh Thomas I like the upside that Thomas possesses.
Still just 25 years old, Thomas played only 549 career snaps, but seemed to be on his way to a more prominent role in 2025 before his season ended due to injury. Over 156 coverage snaps, however, Thomas was targeted only three times and held opponents to a modes 9. 0 yards per catch.
He's also generated four career pass breakups on only 21 targets. Thomas has experience both playing deep and down in the box. The Colts will hope to tap into the untapped potential that Thomas appears to possess.
