Chavez, baseball, Tulare Western: Chavez fired seven strikeouts to help the Mustangs tie Selma 1-1 in a nine-inning game. D'Angelo Dalle Mese, baseball, El Diamante: Dalle Messe was the winning pitcher in the Miners' 9-8 victory over Reedley. He tossed five strikeouts in three innings, allowing only one earned run.

Offensively, he went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, two runs and a double. Eli McLennan, baseball, Mt. Whitney: McLennan blasted two doubles with an RBI and run scored as the Pioneers tied Madera 11-11 in nine innings.
