The Georgia women's basketball team will face the winner of Virginia vs. Arizona State in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Georgia Lady Bulldogs will be a No. 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament starting this week. Both the Georgia men's and women's basketball teams made March Madness in the same year for the first time since 2011.

The Bulldogs are the No. 7 seed in the Regional 4 (Sacramento) bracket. Georgia recorded an overall record of 22-9 this season, while holding an 8-8 record during SEC play.
