Former Patriots linebacker Jack Gibbens is reportedly set to visit the Arizona Cardinals this week.

Former New England Patriots linebacker Jack Gibbens is scheduled to visit the Arizona Cardinals early this week as an unrestricted free agent, per ESPN's Mike Reiss . The Patriots made the decision not to tender Gibbens last week, which freed him up to sign with another team. He served as a key contributor for the team last season, particularly when Robert Spillane was dealing with injuries.

All told, he had 81 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and four pass deflections over the course of 17 games. Along with contributing on defense, he also played on 64 percent of the special teams snaps. Reiss wrote: "Linebacker/special-teamer Jack Gibbens, who played a valuable backup role for the Patriots in 2025 but wasn't tendered an offer as a restricted free agent, is scheduled to visit the Cardinals early this week, according to a league source.

" The Patriots would benefit from having Gibbens back as a rotational piece on the roster. He's a reliable veteran player with the experience to step up and contribute solid snaps whenever his number is called. However, his future could lie out west, depending on what comes from his visit to Arizona.
