Neto free to face PSG after avoiding UEFA punishment Chelsea winger Pedro Neto is available to face Paris Saint-Germain tomorrow after avoiding UEFA punishment, following an altercation with a ball boy during the first leg last week. Neto pushed a ball boy as frustrations grew during Chelseaโ€™s defeat to PSG in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie at the Parc des Princes. The Portugal international was at risk of suspension, but UEFA have instead decided to โ€˜warnโ€™ Neto over unsporting conduct.

Speaking to the media on Monday, Chelsea coach Liam Rosenior backed the decision: โ€œHeโ€™s a fantastic player, he has apologised for the incident and I think Uefa have made the right decision. โ€ Chelsea trail 5-2 on aggregate ahead of the clash at Stamford Bridge, as the West Londoners look to mount a comeback against the holders. Just four teams have ever previously recovered a Champions League tie after losing the first leg by three or more goals.
