It's almost time for the Lady Longhorns to go dancing, and the expectations are high. Texas was named the No. 1 seed on Sunday and will host the first and second rounds of the 2026 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.
After a stellar regular season, Texas is primed for a deep tournament run as they chase a national title. The Longhorns finished the regular season with a ย 31-3 overall record. They thrived against some of the best teams in the country, finishing with 14 wins over ranked opponents, the most in the nation.
