Mkhitaryan underwent medical tests on Monday morning at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano and Inter reported in an official statement that, “the tests revealed a strain to the biceps femoris in his left thigh. ” This is the midfielder’s second injury-inflicted absence of the season, after the semitendinosus hamstring strain he suffered away against Napoli back at the end of October. The former Giallorossi favourite will be re-evaluated in the coming days and will definitely miss Sunday’s clash against Fiorentina at the Franchi stadium.
