The New England Patriots replaced Stefon Diggs with Romeo Doubs in free agency, but they could still be in the market for another receiver. The Patriots reportedly had interest in A. J.
Brown, even after signing Doubs. However, the Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly not looking to trade him at this time. There are still receivers available for the Patriots to sign, including Tyreek Hill.
However, the question with Hill is whether he will be the same after his injury. Hill had surgery in September to repair a dislocated left knee and multiple torn ligaments, including his ACL, according to what his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN’s Adam Schefter last year. Hill is expected to play again at some point next season, but when that may be is unclear.
The Miami Dolphins have officially released him, so he is free to sign with any team. Hill has a chance to be a Hall of Famer when he retires, and could still be a superstar in the NFL. However, signing him comes with some risk given his injury and some off-the-field concerns.
