A released former New England Patriots wide receiver could draw interest from the Washington Commanders, Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts, says an NFL analyst for Pro Football and Sports Network.

Patriots $63 million free agent could draw interest from Commanders, Ravens and Colts originally appeared on The Sporting News . Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here . After one week of free agency, the wide receiver market has dwindled, but there is still one very intriguing option left in free agency at the position and that is former New England Patriots wideout Stefon Diggs.

Diggs is available after the Patriots cut him due to his cap hit that was set to balloon in the second year of his $63 million contract. If not for that, Diggs, who showed he has plenty left in the tank after a 1,000-yard season, would still be on the Patriots. While it remains to be seen where Diggs will end up in free agency, Pro Football and Sports Network's Jacob Infante named the Washington Commanders , Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts as possible landing spots.

All three of those teams make sense for Diggs, who would provide a clear upgrade to their current situations. The Commanders need a No. 2 receiver for Jayden Daniels across from Terry McLaurin but don't have that guy on their roster.

Deebo Samuel remains unsigned and there's no telling when the San Francisco 49ers are going to release Brandon Aiyuk, who is expected to land in Washington . Even if the Commanders sign Aiyuk, depending on him as the No. 2 would be a risky proposition because he hasn't played since 2024.
