Broncos' Free Agency: Who Will Grab the Spotlight This Year?

โ€ขYahoo Sports

The Broncos still have plenty of salary cap space, so we could see some free agency moves on deck.

The Denver Broncos had a quiet first week of NFL free agency. Denver made plenty of moves, re-signing 17 in-house free agents , but the Broncos were the only team in the NFL that did not sign an outside free agent from another club last week. Perhaps that will change this week.

Denver is estimated to have between $22 million and $23 million in remaining salary cap space, so there's certainly room to make new additions. The Broncos restructured the contracts of outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper and guard Quinn Meinerz to help create that cap space. With more moves undoubtedly on the way, here's a quick look at the team's signings thus far.

Broncos free agency moves RB Jaleel McLaughlin ( 1-year deal ) WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey ( 1-year deal ) FB Adam Prentice ( 1-year deal ) DL Matt Henningsen ( 1-year deal ) TE Lucas Krull ( 1-year deal ) LB Alex Singleton ( 2-year deal ) RB J. K. Dobbins ( 2-year deal ) QB Sam Ehlinger ( 1-year deal ) TE/FB Nate Adkins ( 1-year deal ) TE Adam Trautman ( 3-year deal ) LB Justin Strnad ( 3-year deal ) DL Jordan Jackson ( 1-year tender ) RB Tyler Badie ( 1-year tender ) OLB Dondrea Tillman ( 1-year tender ) DB Devon Key ( 1-year tender ) OT Alex Palczewski ( 2-year deal ) CB Jaโ€™Quan McMillian ( 1-year tender ) In addition to those moves, Denver also released linebacker Dre Greenlaw ( saving just over $8 million ).

Greenlaw quickly landed on his feet , signing with the San Francisco 49ers . We will continue to track all of the team's free agency moves on Broncos Wire . Social : Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X !
