The Broncos have promoted Chris Morgan to offensive line coach ahead of the 2026 season.

When the Denver Broncos announced their updated coaching staff last week, the changes included Chris Morgan being promoted from assistant offensive line coach to the main offensive line coach. Zach Strief, who initially joined the team as offensive line coach in 2023, was promoted to assistant head coach and offensive run game coordinator last year. Strief's title already elevated him above OL coach in 2025, so his and Morgan's duties might not change much, but Morgan has officially received a promotion.

Morton " had options elsewhere ," according to a report from NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, and his title change undoubtedly came with a pay raise. He is entering his 18th season in the NFL. Before joining the Broncos, Morgan worked for six other NFL teams.

He previously held head offensive line coach duties with the Atlanta Falcons (2015-2020) and Chicago Bears (2022–2024). Elsewhere on the coaching front, former NFL linebacker Zaviar Gooden is set to join Denver's strength and conditioning staff , according to the Denver Post 's Parker Gabriel. The Broncos will mark Gooden's first NFL job following four gigs at the college level.
