Nebraska men's basketball returns to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in the last three years. With a 26-6 record, the Huskers earned the fourth seed in the South Region and will face No. 13 Troy in the opening round .

The Trojans (22-11) punched their ticket to the tournament after winning the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, knocking off Southern Miss and Georgia Southern. Troy finished 12-6 in the conference but also took down MAC Tournament champion Akron and Mountain West Tournament runner-up San Diego State. The Trojans also fell to USC 107-106.
