ET, and voting is unlimited. Below is the list of 21 nominees from 16 different South Bend Tribune coverage area schools, listed in alphabetical order first by school then first name. Lily Gill, Brandywine The junior averages more than 13 points, more than five rebounds, more than three assists and more than four steals per game for a Bobcats team that is still going in the MHSAA state tournament thanks to district and regional championship wins.
Eliana Grubbs, Bremen Grubbs made the IBCA Senior Small School All-State team after leading the Lions to an IHSAA sectional and regional championship in a season where she committed to Cornerstone University, eclipsed 1,000 career points and set the program’s all-time steal and assist records. Emma Kincaid, Bremen Kincaid made the IBCA Senior Small School All-State team as well, also reaching 1,000 career points. She averaged more than 14 points and two steals per game.
Shelby Laubach, Edwardsburg The junior set a school record for most points in a game when she dropped 40 in a win against Berrien Springs Jan. 12. She was named to the All-Wolverine Conference First Team.
