He played the entire 90 minutes of their closely-fought 0-1 defeat to title challengers Glasgow Rangers. Devaney was excellent on the ball, completing 94% of his passes on the day. The youngster also completed his only dribble attempt in the match.
He was highly involved, having 70 touches of the ball and did not shy away despite facing such illustrious opponents. Devaney also won five of his ground duels and two tackles in a strong, combative display. He also made two interceptions and one clearance in a good defensive showing for his side.
Devaney could next be in action when St Mirren face Falkirk on Saturday afternoon, when he could come up against fellow United youngster Ethan Williams.
