The Denver Broncos have chosen not to splurge on any free agents thus far this offseason, instead focusing on pinning down contributors from last year's team and getting them to sign new deals.
This has left a large portion of the team's fanbase frustrated. It seemed unanimous among fans of the team and experts who cover the league that the Broncos needed to add some more offensive weapons for Bo Nix to work with. Those same people mostly agreed that had the Broncos had those, they would have played in Super Bowl LX.
The Broncos have yet to do much of anything on the offensive side of the ball in free agency, short of re-signing starting running back J. K. Dobbins.
Though options at the wide receiver and tight end positions are quickly dwindling, the Broncos still have some good options to consider signing. Nick Kosmider of The Athletic had the following to say regarding what the Broncos still need this offseason: "The Broncos as of Friday afternoon were the only team in the NFL that had not signed an external free agent. They have brought back every offensive player who had a touch last season and re-signed both of their primary starters at linebacker last season (Alex Singleton, Justin Strnad).
