Matthew Cash was hit by a pitch to lead off the top of the ninth, and Ace Williamson drew a walk to move the tying run into scoring position. Cash advanced to third after Caleb Johnson flied out to left field and scored on Jaxon Pateโ€™s RBI groundout.

Trey Kingโ€™s RBI single to right field allowed Williamson to score the game-winning run. The Gamecocks got on the board with two runs in the top of the second inning.
