After a 21-11 (11-7 in SEC play) campaign, Texas A&M basketball's seeding and opponent for the 2026 NCAA Tournament have officially been revealed. On Selection Sunday, the Aggies were announced as the No. 10 seed in the South Region and will face No.

7 seed Saint Mary's in the first round of March Madness. Texas A&M will travel to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to take on the Gaels, marking the sixth time the two programs have faced each other. The last time the Aggies faced Saint Mary's was in 2010 in Bryan-College Station, in which the Maroon and White secured a 70-53 win.

Texas A&M's entry into the postseason marks the fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament. In Bucky McMillan's first year at the helm in Bryan-College Station, the Aggies will put on their dancing shoes and compete against the Gaels on Thursday, March 19, in OKC.
