North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX) leapt in the rankings after an exciting finish against Duncanville in the semifinals and a Texas 6A D1 championship victory over Brennan (San Antonio, TX). In the 5A D1 conference, Heritage (Frisco, TX) won its first state championship behind 28 points and 15 rebounds from Bryson Howard. The Coyotes similarly rose in the national rankings.
