New Headline: Novak Djokovic Steps Up to Miami Madness in 2026!

Yahoo Sports

The Miami Open is a two-week Masters 1000 event and the second stop of the Sunshine Double. This year’s tournament draws the biggest names in men’s tennis and runs through the back half of March. The latest development is a major withdrawal of Novak Djokovic.

Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the 2026 Miami Open because of a right-shoulder problem. The decision follows a physical week at Indian Wells, where Djokovic lost a tough Round of 16 match to Jack Draper. He will not take the court in Miami and will forfeit the 650 points he earned by reaching last year’s final.

That points loss will drop him in the ATP standings, with Alexander Zverev expected to move ahead once the update is applied.
