Steelers’ Cornerback Jamel Dean Can’t Wait to Add Tommy (Tomlin’s Son) to the Secondary!
New Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Jamel Dean is eager for quarterback Aaron Rodgers to announce his return to the Steel City in 2026.
There's a new cornerback on the Pittsburgh Steelers roster, former Tampa Bay Buccaneer standout Jamel Dean . When making his Steelers media debut, he had some interesting comments to share about four-time MVP and potential 2026 starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers . Rodgers, yet to make a definitive decision on if he'll return to Pittsburgh in 2026, has piqued the interest of Dean, who believes the 42-year-old quarterback will sign with the Steelers.
“I am looking forward to [Rodgers] signing back,” Dean told reporters. “Because that same football, I need him to sign it. I’ve been waiting like five years just to be able to ask him like, ‘Hey, you remember this ball?
I’ve been meaning for you to sign this ball for so many years, and I think this is a good time to do it now. ’” Dean didn't sound concerned about whether or not Rodgers would return, as his response led some to believe the question is a matter of when, not if the four-time MVP signs with the Steelers.
