Iowa Women's Basketball Sinks Top-25 Opponents in Sweet Sixteen!

After a great regular season, Iowa women's basketball is officially a host site in the NCAA Tournament.

While the news certainly was not a surprise to many Iowa women's basketball fans, the No. 9 Hawkeyes (26-6, 15-3 Big Ten) have earned the right to serve as one of 16 hosts for the upcoming NCAA Tournament. While the actual seeds will be announced during Selection Sunday , the significance of this news is that the Hawkeyes will host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
