Today is the day that Nebraska will learn its opponent for the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. USA TODAY Sports has released the final bracket projections, and the Huskers are a No. 3 seed projected to face No.

14 North Dakota State. The Huskers have a complicated history with the NCAA Tournament. They have made eight appearances in school history and hold a record of 0-8.

Nebraska is the only Power Conference school that has never won a March Madness game. Per USA TODAY Sports, Duke , Michigan , Florida and Arizona are considered the runaway frontrunners for the No. 1 seeds.

Texas , Missouri, SMU and Miami (Ohio) are considered the last four in. Oklahoma , San Diego State, New Mexico and Auburn are considered the last four out. The projections have the SEC as the league earning the most bids, with the breakdown as the SEC (10 bids), Big Ten (9), ACC (8), Big 12 (8), Big East (3), West Coast (3), Atlantic 10 (2), and MAC (2).

Nebraska will officially learn its NCAA Tournament seed on Sunday at 5 p. m. CT.
