Indiana enters Selection Sunday firmly on the wrong side of the bubble. Here’s how and when to watch the selection show.
Indiana's Reed Bailey (center) and the Hoosiers cheer a 3-pointer during the Indiana versus Northwestern men's basketball game at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026. | Rich Janzaruk/Herald-Times / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images This is March and Indiana men’s basketball is, well, technically still on the NCAA Tournament bubble if on the wrong side of it with the Hoosiers losing position every day.
The Hoosiers entered the middle of February projected to land one of the last few byes after a stretch of wins over teams like Purdue and UCLA. They proceeded to win just one of their final seven games with only one of those six losses coming by less than double digits. Worse yet, the same team that handed Indiana that single digit deficit loss, Northwestern, beat it by 13 points in the Hoosiers’ lone Big Ten Tournament game.
It’s a pretty weak year overall for the bubble, but that’s grown increasingly less favorable for Indiana with results like Miami (OH) losing in the MAC Tournament. Vegas doesn’t seem to like the Hoosiers odds of eking its way into the field, with Indiana not being listed with odds to win the title on FanDuel Sportsbook unlike other bubble teams like Texas, SMU, Auburn and San Diego State, among others. But, if you’re still curious, here’s how to watch the show: How to watch the men’s NCAA Tournament Selection Show Date/Time: 6 p.
