New Headline: Broncos Secure Top-Notch Talent in High-Stakes Bid Battle!
Adam Prentice had offers from other teams during NFL free agency, but he opted to remain with the Broncos.
Don't say the Denver Broncos haven't fought for any of their in-house signings. In a report from the Denver Gazette 's Chris Tomasson, the Broncos fought off two other teams for the right to sign fullback Adam Prentice. Prentice attracted attention from the AFC West division rival Las Vegas Raiders and from the team Denver beat in the AFC divisional round, the Buffalo Bills .
Tomasson's report said both Buffalo and Las Vegas offered Prentice the same contract Denver did, but Prentice chose to remain with the Broncos . Throughout the 2025 season, Prentice was an oft-used blocker , picking up blitzes and leading the way for Denver's running backs. Prentice also carried the ball a few times, and his touches were impactful — 67% of the time Prentice touched the ball, he converted a first down.
Source said that the Buffalo Bills and the Las Vegas Raiders also offered to sign fullback Adam Prentice to a one-year, $1. 215 million minimum deal. But he elected to re-sign on that deal with the #Broncos .
— Chris Tomasson (@christomasson) March 12, 2026 Prentice seemingly believes the Broncos are on a championship trajectory, even more so than the Bills, who have been dominant in years past. Denver's act of retaining its own has shown its commitment to winning and to in-house players. We will continue to keep up to date on free agency rumors, signings and departures on Broncos Wire .
