Head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes stepped away from the frenzy during the week to support their alma mater at the 2026 Big 12 tournament at T-Mobile Center. Reid, a BYU alum, sat courtside with his grandson while Mahomes sat with former Kansas City teammates Gehrig Deiter and Blake Bell in support of Texas Tech.
