Behind a complete game shutout from Morgan Reimer, the Washington Huskies sealed a series victory over the Maryland Terrapins.
After a high-scoring affair on Friday night, the Washington Huskies needed just one run to extend their winning streak to 11 games in a row in a 1-0 victory over the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday afternoon. Coach Heather Tarr turned to her ace, sophomore Morgan Reimer, who turned in an impressive performance. She tossed a complete game shutout, working all 7 innings and allowing just 4 hits with a pair of strikeouts to improve to 13-1 on the season, while lowering her ERA to 1.

Freshman right fielder Kaycie Burdick has continued to impress as she went 3-for-3 on the afternoon, while catcher Jadyn Glab went 2-for-3, and left fielder Ava Carroll collected Washington's other two hits.
After starter Caitlin Olensky went the first four innings for the Terps and allowed 5 hits with 2 strikeouts, she was relieved by Elisea Wiegand, who took the loss to drop to 3-3 on the year after allowing the game's lone run on 2 hits and a walk.
