Daniil Medvedev played arguably the best match of his career in the Indian Wells semifinals against World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz. He dominated from start to finish, giving Alcaraz a taste of his own medicine by running him in the intense heat, and walked away with a straight set win.

However, Medvedev understands that he may lose more matches than he wins against Alcaraz.
