Aberg made a really slow start to this third round at The Players Championship , but he managed to shoot a solid round of 71, in spite of a three-putt bogey on the final green. It was a challenging third round for the 26-year-old. Aberg and Xander Schauffele were warned about slow play on the fifth hole on Saturday.
And everything just seemed like a struggle for the final group. However, Aberg finished his round under par for the day and now he holds a three-shot advantage over Michael Thorbjornsen heading into the final round.
