New Headline: Young Stars Defy Odds: Rookie Outpaces Pro Expectations
What position stands out as needing the most help for the Commanders after one week of free agency?
Washington Commanders GM Adam Peters has done a great job in the first week of free agency, hasn't he? So, what position group would you say is the weakest right now on March 15, 2026? It is certainly not offensive guards and tackles.
Peters has re-signed four: Andrew Wylie, Nick Allegretti, Laremy Tunsil, and Chris Paul. They have depth along the line, with the only question being who will be the center? Will Peters sign a veteran center or perhaps draft one to compete with Allegretti?
Quarterback might actually be their strongest position, though they just lost No. 3 QB Josh Johnson, who signed with the Bengals on Saturday. But they return Jayden Daniels and one of the NFL's best backups in Marcus Mariota.
The No. 3 quarterback for 2026 may not yet be on the roster. It would appear that Sam Hartman just didn't develop.
