Elite 'Girl' Team Takes Thrilling Victory in Heart-Racing Championship!
The O'Gorman girls basketball team led for all but 10 seconds as it beat previously-unbeaten Brandon Valley in the SDHSAA Class AA state title game
RAPID CITY โ Sydney Terveen had a signature moment in her final game for O'Gorman, making her final two free throws to ice the Class AA state championship game and finish with 33 points as the Lady Knights beat top-seeded and previously-unbeaten Brandon Valley, 59-53. Terveen's free throws iced the game, but she went 10-for-17 from the field and 7-for-9 from three. She made a couple from the NBA 3-point line, and was always ready when a big shot was needed.
"It's a good feeling being a senior and being able to leave it all out on the floor," Terveen said. Thatโs NBA range from Sydney Terveen. She has 25 in her final game for @OGLadyKBball and they lead @BVLynxGBB 51-42 with 4:44 to play.

Her head coach, Kent Kolsrud, was in awe of his star's performance in her final game as a Lady Knight. "That was a great player making great plays when the lights were shining brightest," Kolsrud said.
