Vallejos, a rising contender in the division, turned back the veteran Emmett, scoring a first round TKO finish in 3:33 live on Paramount+. The fight made UFC history in that it featured the largest age difference in a main event at 16 years, nine months and four days, as Vallejos is 24 years old and Emmett is 41. A native of Argentina, Vallejos has scored four wins with three finishes since appearing on Dana White's Contender Series in 2024.
