But we are the team who meet these very expectations.
This Sunday the cycle continues. As shown by our recent meeting with Manchester United the opposition won’t go down without a tough fight. But a team who’s knocked them down before can do it again.
Date / Time: Sunday, March 14, 2026, 14. 15 GMT; 9:15am EST Venue: Ashton Gate, Bristol, England Forecast: Rainy with a breeze On TV: BBC One, Sky Sports (UK); none (USA); elsewhere Streaming: BBC iPlayer, Sky GO (UK); ESPN+, fuboTV (USA) Chelsea team news: Just before the latest international break we beat Manchester United in the Women’s FA Cup 2-1 in the competition’s fifth round. It wasn’t an easy task as we needed extra time to finish the job.
But we did it anyway and it can be a portent of things to come this Sunday. The nearly three-week long break bode well for the recoveries of defenders Kadeisha Buchanan, Mille Bright and Natalie Björn from their respective injuries. However that wasn’t the case for forwards Mayra Ramírez and Catarina Macario, who likely won’t be back on the pitch this season.
