Isabella Wrana of Stockholm, Sweden won the gold medal in mixed doubles curling at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan/Cortina d’Ampezzo. In the gold medal game, Sweden defeated the United States by a score of 6-5. At the 2026 Women’s World Curling Championship in Calgary, I caught up with Isabelle in an exclusive interview for The Big Lead.

Q: Congratulations for winning an Olympic gold medal. What was that experience like for you? A: “It was a dream come true, winning together with my brother (Rasmus).

We’ve had that goal for many years. For myself, to compete at the Olympics and earning a medal was great. ” "You kinda have to forget about the losses… focus on how you're playing!
