Seminoles Secure Sweet 16th Win in Heart-Pounding Doubleheader!
Florida State softball is on a roll early in conference play. The ‘Noles followed up their game one win over the Orange, with a five inning run rule. Sixty feet away from another run, Kennedy Harp had a ground out RBI to put the Seminoles up 2-0. 2nd Inning Shelby McKenzie led off the bottom of the inning with a walk from Knight. Back to back singles for the ‘Noles had every base occupied.
A sacrifice fly from Hayley Griggs extended the lead to 3-0. With the top of the lineup back up, Syracuse walked Torres. Back with bases loaded, Knight walked another batter, as well as got a sacrifice fly to make it 5-0.
