Georgia defeats Tennessee in Game 2 of SEC opening baseball series.

No. 8 Georgia (16-4, 1-1 SEC) defeated No. 21 Tennessee (14-5, 1-1 SEC), 4-2, Saturday at Foley Field in Athens, Georgia.

With Saturday's win, the Bulldogs tied the three-game SEC series. Georgia led, 1-0, in the second inning after Michael O'Shaughnessy hit a solo home run. The Bulldogs extended their advantage to, 3-0, after Ryan Black hit a two-run home run in the third inning.

The Vols pulled to within, 3-1, after Blaine Brown hit a solo home run in the fourth inning and, 3-2, after Garrett Wright hit a RBI double in the fifth inning. Georgia scored one run in the sixth inning to extend its advantage to, 4-2. Brown went 1-for-3.

He recorded one home run, one RBI and one run. Wright went 1-for-4, recording one double and one RBI. Manny Marin went 2-for-4 and scored one run.
