Duke clinched the top seed in the ACC Tournament with a 77-51 victory over Virginia on Feb. 28, a massive victory that helped lead the Blue Devils to the regular-season conference title. Now, the two match up against each other with the ACC Tournament title on the line, and both teams are coming into the game after routs of their opponents in the semifinals.
Duke used a combined 40 points from Cameron and Cayden Boozer to take a commanding first-half lead against Clemson and didn’t let the Tigers get close the rest of the way in a 73-61 victory. The Cavaliers had no problem handling Miami, as five players finished with double-digits in points, led by Ugonna Onyenso’s 17 points off the bench as the Wahoos dominated the Hurricanes 84-62.
