Southeastern Conference baseball is back, y'all. No. 13 LSU baseball got a rude welcome back to conference play in its opener at Vanderbilt.
The Tigers took a two-run lead into the bottom of the ninth. Vandy's Logan Johnstone hit a two-run walk-off home run to sink the Tigers, 13-12, Friday night at Charles Hawkins Field. LSU (13-6, 0-1) will try to bounce back against the Commodores (12-7) in game two of the three-game Saturday night.
