Dodgers Smash White Sox 3-0 in Exciting Series Sweep

Yahoo Sports

The Los Angeles Dodgers suffered a notable loss on Saturday, March 14, falling to the Chicago White Sox at Camelback Ranch. The Dodgers share the Spring Training facilities with the White Sox, making the game a bit of a spring rivalry. Lefty Justin Wrobleski, one of the starting rotation candidates , took the mound for the Dodgers, and right from the start, he seemed not to have his best stuff.

The southpaw gave up five hits, five runs, walked two batters, and punched out three. He threw 68 pitches, throwing 43 strikes. Mar 14, 2026; Phoenix, Arizona, USA; Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Justin Wrobleski against the Chicago White Sox during a spring training game at Camelback Ranch-Glendale.

Rebilas-Imagn Images Manager Dave Roberts came into the game and pulled Wrobleski in the third inning, bringing in Dilan Figeredo, who allowed two more hits and walked a batter himself, eventually finishing the inning. Pitching-wise, the Dodgers then rolled out three of their key lefty relievers — Alex Vesia, Tanner Scott, and Jack Dreyer, who did not allow any hits or runs.

While Wrobleski set the team back, the offense did not do its part; they had only six hits all game. They did get a good amount of traffic with seven walks, but the team could not get timely hits or keep the line moving. Among the offensive players, Zach Ehrhard stood out as one of the best hitters, going 2-for-3 at the plate.

He has been one of the stars of Spring Training, showing an impressive ability to hit. Ehrhard came from the Dustin May trade, which brought him and James Tibbs III. The Dodgers did not hold back in terms of their lineup, with Dalton Rushing, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Andy Pages, Kyle Tucker, and Max Muncy.
